Through a dynamic promotional website, developed by 14Four, hundreds of lucky pups were given the chance to get their paws on a rubberized version of the Toyota Tacoma. With each durable toy demonstrating the rugged nature of the vehicle, tails around the nation were wagging with joy for the latest off- road exclusive.

The Challenge

Through extensive target audience research, Toyota discovered that up to 55% of truck owners also happened to be dog owners, and that 66% of shoppers took their beloved pet into consideration when choosing their new ride. This sparked the endearing idea to create something bespoke for this unique group that would serve as a never ending product demo. With the dog toy helping to connect dog owners to dealerships, it was time to bark about it and generate attention.
