Experience the Future of Brand Storytelling with Gaussian Splatting

Real‑time, photorealistic 3D environments built from existing 3D assets, photos, and videos. Anytime, Anywhere.

Gaussian splatting is a volume‑rendering technique where a 3D scene is represented not by traditional polygons but by millions of small Gaussian functions. Each “splat” has a position, size and colour, and together they reproduce the geometry and appearance of the real world.

Key benefits: A 3D model generated with 3DGS is highly photorealistic, accurately captures geometry and enables real‑time rendering. Unlike previous approaches, 3DGS can capture larger scenes with negligible artifacts.

How Does It Work?

  1. Capture the real world: Use photos or short videos of a scene. A sparse point cloud is generated using Structure‑from‑Motion (SfM) or photogrammetry techniques.
  2. Convert to Gaussians: Each point in the cloud is treated as a 3D Gaussian. These Gaussians are optimized via adaptive density control to refine their distribution and alignment.
  3. Render with a tile‑based rasterizer: A fast, differentiable rasterizer projects the Gaussians to the screen, enabling real‑time rendering.
  4. Explore and interact: Once trained, users can navigate and interact with the scene freely.

Why Gaussian Splatting Matters for Marketing & Advertising

With 3DGS, users can explore products, retail spaces or event venues from any angle with fluid, real‑time rendering, and reduce latency. And, it can work inside of your favorite social media platform.

The process uses existing imagery and doesn’t require complex scanning rigs. With a few photos or videos, a space or product can be digitized.

With this in mind, 14Four recreated a physical store using gaussian splatting. Users could browse shelves, inspect products up close and click on items to see details and all from a web browser.

SOME 1:1 Activations

Event activations - Before an event, during an event, and after an event. Content can be created to create pre-vis walkthroughs. During the event the space can come to life in a digital way to add more engagement. After the event this technology can be used to create sharable memorable moments.

Product storytelling: For a product launch how about an interactive unboxing. Viewers navigated around the product, watched animations triggered by hotspots and explored design details. The photorealistic representation built excitement and confidence.

Rapid prototyping: 14Four’s internal experiments show that creating a splat from a set of photos takes hours instead of days. This rapid turnaround is ideal for pitches and concept validation.
